Systems over Goals:
Having systems in place, as opposed to a vague goal, is a better strategy when it comes to winning.
Systems can be seen as a road map to your intended destination.
Example, lose 30-pounds. Great goal. How will you get there?
Answer – systems.
Here are some great systems for achieving a fitness goal.
-Exercise 3-5x/week
-Have your gym bag packed and ready to go before you leave for work
-Exercise at the same time every day, this will help reinforce the habit
-Have a healthy reward for post-workout (example: protein shake)
-Plan/Shop/Prep food the same day every week
-Have a positive mindset. Believe that you will achieve your desired outcome
-Use positive affirmations daily:
I ______, will be healthy and fit. I will achieve my desired weight
